EFFECT: You show your audience a small black plastic tube with two silver caps on the ends. You show the tube to be completely empty and hand it out to the audience to examine. You then show a small silk handkerchief and make it vanish! After showing your hands to be empty, you open the tube and remove the silk! Everything can again be examined.

How It's Done

What you need: Plastic tube, two caps, one for each end, 6" x 6" or 12" x 12" silk cloth, thumb tip.

What is a thumb tip? It is a flesh colored appliance that looks like a thumb and slides over your real thumb. They cost less than one dollar.

Junior Magic Thumb Tip

The secret:

1. Before you start, put the thumb tip on one of your thumbs.
2. Hand out for plastic tube , the end caps , silk square and let them be examined.
3. Collect items back.
4. Put caps on and of tube. Give tube to spectator two hole.
5. Use thumb to stuff silk square into one fist. Trick: use your thumb, leaving some tip inside fist. Stuff silk into some tip. Replace some tip containing silk on thumb. Show hands to be empty.
6. Retrieved close the plastic tube from spectator.
7. Take off one end.
8. Reach inside and pull out silk (remove silk from some tip inside tube) and replaced some tip on thumb.
9. Show plastic tube to be empty again!
